Vanilla Bean Scones

These scones….oh how I love them. I never thought I would bake scones any other way than the way I make Erin’s scones. These are definitely not replacing those because nothing beats that recipe in my mind. However, those are not your typical scones. They’re light and soft and the texture is more cake like. Classic scones that you are more likely to find, are a bit different in that they are typically hard and crunchy in texture. So it’s hard to even compare them to one another. I had seen a few recipes for vanilla bean scones, imitating the Starbucks recipe. So I came up my own version and boy were they good. Continue reading

Buffalo Chicken Nachos

I don’t know about you, but I love football season. Well I don’t really watch football, but I love football movies and I am obsessed with the ESPN specials they have now and then. Did you see the story about Chucky Mullins? I can’t even start on that…it was so amazing. I watched it over a week ago and I am still thinking about it. Autumn Enchiladas

There are some things that I will make all year round. However, there are some recipes that I will only make a certain time of year. I’ve told you this, like with the chicken pot pie. I can’t make chicken pot pie in the Summer. I refuse. Enchiladas are typically a summer only meal for me. I just think of warm days and margaritas. Until these.
